Matt was born and raised in North Vancouver. He has played a wide variety of sports at a competitive level, and continues to play soccer and basketball every week. Matt received his diploma in Human Kinetics from Capilano University and has now graduated from UBC with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.
His involvement with sports and many injuries sparked his interest in movement biomechanics. Studying the complexities of the human body have furthered his interest in the rehabilitation process and getting individuals back to their sport and everyday lives.
Matt enjoys working with his hands whether on his car, his motorcycle, or playing guitar. On his days off he spends his time with friends playing Spikeball, out for a cruise, or on the basketball court.
